Days after Virat Kohli's exchange with the Australian media at the Melbourne airport over filming his kids, his teammate Ravindra Jadeja refused to take their questions ahead of the fourth Test. With 9News Melbourne reporting the incident, the Saurashtra all-rounder was seen walking away when an Aussie reporter was about to ask a question.

After his exchange with the media at the Melbourne airport, Kohli was also seen speaking to a journalist, expressing his grievance. Meanwhile, the southpaw spoke to the Indian journalists on Saturday but walked away from the Aussie reporters, who were seen complaining.

The media manager was later seen telling them that their bus was leaving; hence, they had to make it quick.

Jadeja played a vital role in helping the tourists secure a draw in Brisbane with a gritty knock of 77 off 123 deliveries, in a knock laced with seven fours and a six. He is likely to retain his spot for the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne, which begins on December 26.

"I hope Indian cricket gets a better bowler or all-rounder than him" - Ravindra Jadeja praises Ravichandran Ashwin

With Ravichandran Ashwin retiring from international cricket, his longtime teammate Jadeja said he will miss the off-spinner, especially how they used to plan against opposition batters. The 36-year-old said while speaking to the media:

"He was my on-field mentor and we played together for a long time. There was a bond between us and we regularly shared messages about the conditions in a particular match. We had a discussion about the shots a batter could play and what we should be doing against him.
"I am going to miss all these things. I hope Indian cricket gets a better bowler or all-rounder than him. You can’t say that no one can take his place. Everyone goes, and you get the replacement."

The five-Test series between Australia and India is currently locked at 1-1.
