All-rounder Andre Russell was seen shaking a leg to the groovy 'Lutt Putt Gaya' song with Bollywood actor Ananya Panday as part of Kolkata Knight Riders' (KKR) celebrations following their Indian Premier League 2024 triumph. The 'Lutt Putt Gaya' song is from the movie 'Dunki' and has been picturized on Shah Rukh Khan, who is incidentally the co-owner of the Kolkata-based franchise.
KKR hammered Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in the IPL 2024 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, May 26. By virtue of the dominating victory, Kolkata lifted the IPL trophy for the third time. They had earlier won the T20 league in 2012 and 2014, both times under current mentor Gautam Gambhir's leadership.
Following KKR's triumph on Sunday in Chennai, a number of pictures and videos of the players, the support staff and the fans celebrating the win have gone viral on social media.
In one such clip, West Indies all-rounder Russell is seen grooving with Ananya to the 'Lutt Putt Gaya' song. He can also be seen lip-syncing to the song. KKR coach Chandrakant Pandit can also be spotted in the video.
Incidentally, Russell featured in a Hindi song titled ‘Ladki Tu Kamaal Ki’ along with actor Avika Gor, which was released earlier this month in the midst of the IPL.
