Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shared a video posted by Haryana all-rounder Rahul Tewatia, showing how the domestic side had gathered around their newest recruit Anshul Kamboj during the IPL 2025 Auction. The video was shared on Friday, November 29.
Anshul's name has been doing the rounds on the internet, owing to his performances in the domestic circuit. The 23-year-old garnered attention by picking up 10 wickets in an innings against Kerala and helping Haryana win a recent Ranji Trophy fixture.
At the IPL 2025 Auction, Anshul was listed in the Uncapped All-Rounders Set 2. With a base price of ₹30 lakh, the Delhi Capitals opened the bidding for him and CSK joined in soon. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) also placed their bids but backed out. Mumbai Indians (MI) and CSK bid for the player's services, with the latter coming out on top and acquiring him for ₹3.40 crore.
CSK took to their official Instagram account and shared the video of how Anshul and his Haryana teammates reacted during the player's bidding. They posted the video with the following caption:
