Australia women’s player Amanda-Jade Wellington took a brilliant catch in The Hundred women’s clash between Norther Superchargers and Oval Invincibles at Kennington Oval in London on Friday, August 2. The Invincibles struck early as Davina Sarah T Perrin departed for just eight runs off seven balls.

The dismissal came off the seventh ball of the Superchargers’ innings. Left-arm pacer Rachel Slater bowled a length ball and Davina went for a shot over mid-off. The right-hander, however, managed to hit the ball off the bottom end.

Wellington ran backwards to her right before putting in the dive to complete the catch. The stunning effort could be rewarded with a catch of the tournament contender.

Sharing the video on X, The Hundred’s official handle wrote on X:

“Amanda-Jade Wellington took OFF to take this catch!”
