Team India middle-order batter Suryakumar Yadav recently posted a funny reel on Instagram to entertain his fans. The Mumbaikar is currently in the USA with the Indian contingent participating in the ongoing 2024 T20 World Cup. The Rohit Sharma-led side officially qualified for the Super 8 on Wednesday after winning three consecutive group games.

Suryakumar Yadav failed with the bat in India's first two World Cup matches against Ireland and Pakistan. He returned to form in the clash against USA and scored an unbeaten 50 (49) on a two-paced surface. Surya resurrected the innings after his side collapsed to 39/3 in the chase of 111 and built a 72-run partnership with Shivam Dube (31*) to take them home without any more hiccups.

The flamboyant batter took to his official Instagram handle on Thursday and shared a funny reel after his on-field heroics the previous day. He captioned it:

"When Surya shines, his brightness is better than most, and who can stand in front of Surya? Shivam Dube also showed his colors along with him today. It was very nice to see the way they batted. That partnership set the tone not only for this match but for the upcoming matches as well about what this batting can do."

On the partnership between Suryakumar and Shivam Dube, Harbhajan added:

"The partnership came at a time when it was most required. They didn't get bogged down. They focused on singles and doubles, which was the right approach to drive the game here. Whenever they got a chance in between, they hit fours and sixes. This partnership calmed the little commotion in the dressing room."

India will next face Canada on Saturday (June 15) at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida.
