Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal roared back to form with a stunning century in the team's IPL 2024 clash against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Monday, April 22.
Jaiswal notched up his second IPL century, remaining unbeaten on 104 off 60 deliveries. The southpaw's batting exploits helped Rajasthan chase down the 180-run target in 18.4 overs with nine wickets in hand.
After scoring the winning runs, Jaiswal walked towards Rohit Sharma with a big smile. The two shared a hug, and the former MI skipper seemed mighty impressed by the youngster's knock.

"I really enjoyed from the start and I made sure I was watching the ball properly and playing proper cricketing shots. I’m trying to do what I am doing well, some days it comes good and some days it doesn’t, I’m not thinking much. I want to thank all my seniors the way they have guided me.”
"I want to thank the Rajasthan Royals management and especially Sanga sir and Sanju bhai for giving me opportunities. I go out and give my best in the practice sessions and I’m so happy today," he added.
RR pacer Sandeep Sharma was named Player of the Match for his five-wicket haul. With seven wins from eight games, Rajasthan are currently the table-toppers of IPL 2024.
