England players engaged in a fun noodle war activity during practice in Guyana ahead of their 2024 T20 World Cup semi-final clash against India. The two teams will square off in the knock-out contest on Thursday, June 27, in Guyana.

It is a rematch from the previous edition of the T20 World Cup, played in 2022. England dominated the encounter in Adelaide as they beat Men in Blue comprehensively by 10 wickets. They went on to lift the trophy by defeating Pakistan in the final in Melbourne.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) took to its official Instagram handle and shared a video to give fans a glimpse of preparations in the England camp ahead of the all-important semi-final. The English players could be seen having fun with each other, courtesy of noodle war.

"Moeen Ali could be that dangerous guy" - Aakash Chopra picks England's crucial player ahead of 2024 T20 World Cup semis clash vs India

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra recently previewed the second semi-final of the 2024 T20 World Cup in a video shared on his YouTube channel. He analyzed the England squad and picked Moeen Ali as one of the main threats for the opposition team, considering the pitch conditions and presence of multiple left-handers in the Indian team.

Chopra said:

"Who could be the threats from the opposing team? Firstly the two openers, whose numbers are not that good against left-arm spin. Then Axar Patel is an important player. You can concentrate more on him. You can focus on Ravindra Jadeja because they are having difficulties against left-arm spin. After that, Harry Brook in batting, and I feel Moeen Ali is a player who can trouble us. He will bowl off-spin and we have four left-handers."

Chopra added:

"So Moeen Ali could be that dangerous guy. He is this team's vice-captain Chris Jordan came back in the last match and took a hat-trick as soon as he came. It seemed like his career had been put on ice. He was pulled out from there and he picked up four wickets. Sam Curran isn't doing that well but he will like this kind of pitch, where he will roll his fingers over the ball."
