Former Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan made a few children's day special by surprising them on Christmas. The 39-year-old turned Secret Santa on the festival and interacted with kids from various NGOs.
Dhawan clicked pictures and signed autographs for the kids, who were provided with meals and gifts during the Christmas celebration. The video of the event was shared by the cricket star's NGO - Shikhar Dhawan Foundation - on Instagram.
The NGO captioned the post:
"Shared joy is double the joy and this Christmas - we at Shikhar Dhawan Foundation decided to do the same. A day of celebration as our founder @shikhardofficial played secret Santa to the kids from various NGO’s making this a memorable Christmas!"
It is worth mentioning that the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation adopts 11 new NGOs in India every year. It has previously organized things like eye check-up camps, blood donation camps, and ration distribution drives for the underprivileged.
