His terrific opening spell helped Kolkata bundle out Hyderabad for a paltry score of 113 in the summit clash. KKR chased down the modest target with eight wickets in hand to clinch their third IPL title.
Starc was released by KKR ahead of the IPL 2025 auction. His salary saw a massive cut as he was signed by Delhi Capitals (DC) for ₹11.75 crore at the event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
