Amid the grueling Boxing Day Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia, Harbhajan Singh lightened things by sharing a funny video. The former off-spinner posted a clip of Australian speedster Mitchell Starc's lookalike on his Instagram account.

Harbhajan shared an Instagram story featuring an individual with an uncanny resemblance to Starc. Sharing the video of the fast bowler's doppelganger, the cricketer-turned-commentator wrote:

"Close enough?"

Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc has looked impressive in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. With 14 scalps across seven innings, the left-arm seamer is Australia's second-highest wicket-taker in the rubber.

The scoreline of the five-match Test series between the two cricketing giants stands at 1-1. India and Australia are currently battling it out against each other at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the fourth Test of the series.

"Just for laugh" - When Harbhajan Singh shared a meme about Mitchell Starc's IPL 2024 salary

Mitchell Starc sparked a bidding war at the mini-auction ahead of IPL 2024. The veteran bowler was roped in by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for a whopping ₹24.75 crore at the event.

The deal made Starc the most expensive player in the league's history at the time. Reacting to the Australian cricketer's record IPL salary, Harbhajan Singh shared a hilarious meme on Instagram.

The 44-year-old wrote:

"Just for laugh."

Starc shone with the ball for KKR in the IPL 2024 playoffs, winning the Player of the Match award in the Qualifier 1 and subsequent final against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH).

His terrific opening spell helped Kolkata bundle out Hyderabad for a paltry score of 113 in the summit clash. KKR chased down the modest target with eight wickets in hand to clinch their third IPL title.

Starc was released by KKR ahead of the IPL 2025 auction. His salary saw a massive cut as he was signed by Delhi Capitals (DC) for ₹11.75 crore at the event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
