Former Team India batter Vinod Kambli was recently seen dancing in his hospital room. The 52-year-old was admitted to Akruti Hospital in Thane earlier this month after experiencing muscle cramps and dizziness at his residence.

It was later found out that Kambli had a urine infection and sodium and potassium deficiency. Following a scan, it was also revealed that the ex-cricketer had clots in his brain.

While several fans have been concerned about Kambli's health, he seems to be recovering well. A video has surfaced on social media, in which he seems to be in good spirits as he can be seen dancing to 'Chak de India.'

Here's the video of Vinod Kambli's dance:

Kambli was once touted as India's newest batting sensation. However, it was a case of unfulfilled potential. The left-handed batter scored 1,084 runs in 17 Tests at an average of 54.20.

The southpaw remains the fastest Indian to score 1,000 in Tests, crossing the milestone in just 14 innings. In ODIs, Kambli finished with 2,477 runs from 97 innings at an average of 32.59.

"I will never leave cricket" - Vinod Kambli's emotional message to fans

Despite his medical condition, Vinod Kambli is hopeful of remaining associated with cricket. He recently said he will never leave the sport. Speaking to the media for the first time after being hospitalized, he thanked his childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar. He also sang the song 'We are the Champions' by the rock band 'Queen.'

Promising to bounce back, Kambli said during his chat with ANI:

"I am feeling better now...I will never leave this (cricket) because I remember the number of centuries and double centuries I have hit...We are three left-handers in the family. I am thankful to Sachin Tendulkar as his blessings have always been with me."

Kambli was promised financial aid of ₹5 lakh by Shiv Sena after he was hospitalized.
