Indian model and actress Poonam Pandey recently revealed her favorite cricket player. Her answer came during a rapid-fire segment during an interview with Digital Commentary.

Pandey initially picked talismanic all-rounder Hardik Pandya as her favorite cricketer. However, she later changed her answer to ace batter Virat Kohli. Here's what the controversial celebrity said after being asked to name the cricketer she likes the most:

"Hardik Pandya, I love him. One second, Virat Kohli."

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time that Pandey has spoken about her admiration for Virat Kohli. During the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2016, she was asked about the star batter during a media interaction.

Stating that she loved Kohli from all her heart, here's what she answered:

"Who doesn't love Virat Kohli. And I love him with all my heart."

It is worth mentioning that Poonam Pandey grabbed headlines with her publicity stunt during the 2011 World Cup. She had reportedly promised to strip if India finished as the champions of the showpiece event (via Hindustan Times).

Pandey tasted fame with the publicity stunt. She is often in the news for stirring up controversies, even faking her death earlier this year to spread awareness about cervical cancer.

"Game mein thoda spice hona chahiye" - Poonam Pandey on MS Dhoni's reaction to her promise during 2011 World Cup

Poonam Pandey claimed former India skipper MS Dhoni's gave an interesting reaction to her promise to strip if the Men in Blue won the 2011 World Cup. She stated that the keeper-batter responded by saying that it would add some spice to the game.

Sharing Dhoni's alleged reaction to her publicity stunt, Pandey said on the podcast 'Dostcast':

"[MS Dhoni] said game mein thoda spice hona chahiye."

While India beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the 2011 World Cup final at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Pandey didn't fulfil her promise. She later clarified in an interview with Mint (via HT) that her bold statement was just to be in the limelight.
