Fans do not seem to have forgotten Virat Kohli's shoulder barge with Sam Konstas and the following events. On the opening day (Friday, January 3) of the fifth Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 Test in Sydney, an Indian fan was seen teasing Konstas with a Virat Kohli poster in the crowd.
A fan was seen carrying a Virat Kohli poster in a video posted by an X (formerly Twitter) user. Konstas was fielding on the boundary at the time.
The young Australian turned behind between deliveries and saw the poster as well. As there was constant cheering, Konstas was seen giving a thumbs-up to the fan. He also looked back and clapped, getting the crowd to clap too.
The 19-year-old has been seen engaging the crowd while fielding previously as well. While the fan may have shown the Kohli poster to tease Konstas, the youngster appears to have taken it positively.

Virat Kohli's batting woes continue down under
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli once again failed to get going with the bat in India's first innings of the ongoing Sydney Test. Facing 69 deliveries, Kohli managed to score only 17 runs before being dismissed by Scott Boland.
The issue, however, is the fact that he got out once again edging an outside off-stump delivery. It was a similar form of dismissal yet again and it continues to haunt the former Indian skipper.
With Rohit Sharma missing out, Kohli was under pressure to come good this time around. Barring his century in the Perth Test, Kohli has not been able to get a significant score throughout the series.
The right-hander has only 184 runs from 8 innings this series, with a poor average of 26.28. The second innings will be his one last opportunity to get some runs under his belt in this series.
