The Rohit Sharma-led Indian team hit the nets ahead of the fourth Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 Test in Melbourne, scheduled to begin on Thursday, December 26.
While Rohit Sharma, along with a few other Indian team players, was walking back after having completed the training session, a fan watching asked for batter Shubman Gill to be called as she wanted to see the young Indian star.
In a video shared on the internet (@NihariVsKorma on X via RevSportz), the fan can be seen repeatedly asking Rohit to call Shubman.
"Rohit please call Shubman no please once," she was heard saying.
The repeated request seemed to have annoyed and angered the Indian captain. In the video, he can be seen looking at the fan and replying in a rather angry tone.
"Kaha se lau," he can be heard saying (which means where do I get him from).
Further, the fan in the video said that she was there only for Shubman. She added that she had seen him only briefly before and also wished that she could meet him. She stated that Gill will make a comeback and that she believes in him.

Rohit Sharma and Co. will be keen to bounce back in Melbourne
Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will be keen to win the fourth Test in Melbourne and take a 2-1 lead in the series. After having won the opening Test in Perth by 295 runs, they lost the Adelaide Test by 10 wickets.
The third Test at The Gabba was also a relatively difficult outing for the Indian team. With some luck from the constant rain throughout and their spirited efforts on the final day, they managed to draw the Test and avoid defeat.
The series is now leveled 1-1 heading into the Melbourne Test. Rohit Sharma will be wary of the fact that a win here will not only put them ahead in the series but will also boost their chances of making it to the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
