Ambani family felicitates Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav

During the Sangeet ceremony, the Ambani family felicitated the players of the Indian World Cup-winning team, which included captain Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav. All three players also represent the Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

In a video shared by the Mumbai Indians on Instagram, Nita Ambani congratulated all three players for their contributions to helping India win the T20 World Cup.

“'Tough Times Don’t Last, Tough People Do.' Mrs. Nita Ambani summed up Team India's brilliant campaign as they stood against the odds in the #T20WorldCup and emerged as the undisputed champions.”

Indian captain Rohit Sharma led from the front as he ended the tournament as the second-highest run-scorer (257). Suryakumar Yadav made decent contributions with the bat and took a match-defining catch in the last over of the final to dismiss David Miller.

Hardik Pandya was excellent throughout the World Cup and bowled a brilliant last over to take India over the line in the June 29 final against South Africa. With this, India ended their 11-year drought for an ICC trophy as Rohit Sharma became the second captain to win the T20 World Cup for Men in Blue.
