Team India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah's stump mic comment went viral as he expressed to his teammates the issues with the pitch and conditions on Day 1 (Saturday, December 14) of the third Test against Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane. In between deliveries during the fifth over, the 31-year-old could be heard telling his teammates that the ball was not swinging.

The coin toss fell in favor of Rohit Sharma, who elected to bowl first, keeping in mind the overhead conditions at the Gabba. However, the ball didn't do as much as the Indian bowlers were hoping for. While Bumrah, Akash Deep, and Mohammed Siraj beat the bat a handful of times, they failed to break the opening stand of Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney.

"Nahin ho raha hai swing aise, kahi bhi kar." (The ball is not swinging despite bowling anywhere)

Both sides have made changes ahead of the important Test in Brisbane. The tourists swapped Harshit Rana and Ravichandran Ashwin for Akash Deep and Ravindra Jadeja, while Australia drafted in Josh Hazlewood for Scott Boland. Hazlewood was Australia's best bowler in Perth but missed the pink-ball fixture in Adelaide due to a side strain. Nevertheless, Scott Boland delivered a promising performance, picking up five wickets to set up a series-leveling win for the hosts.

The star bowler, meanwhile, has been on song in the ongoing series from the get-go. The Ahmedabad-born speedster sent down quite a lethal opening spell on Day 1 of the first Test in Perth. The right-arm pacer ripped through Australia's batting unit to reduce them to 67-7 by the end of Day 1 after the visitors were bowled out for 150.

The stand-in captain took a fifer by dismissing Alex Carey and gave India a 46-run lead. The 31-year-old finished the Perth Test with eight scalps to fire their side to a 295-run victory. Bumrah added four more wickets to his tally in the second Test in Adelaide but it wasn't enough to prevent an Aussie win.
