Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah did Cristiano Ronaldo's "Siu" celebration during a recent training session with his teammates ahead of the Test series against Bangladesh. The two Asian nations will square off in a two-match Test series, which commences on Wednesday (August 21). Rawalpindi will host both matches.

Pakistan are currently in sixth position in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table. The upcoming series against Bangladesh is crucial for them to get back into contention for a spot in the WTC 2025 final.

Ahead of the series, the Pakistan players have been training intensely to get into the groove for Test matches after playing a lot of limited-overs cricket over the past few months. An X user (Bisma.) shared a video to give a glimpse of the fun activities of players in the practice session. In it, Naseem Shah could be seen in good spirits and doing a Siu celebration.

"It is easier to communicate with the coach in your own language"- Naseem Shah on issues faced while working with foreign coaches

During a recent press conference, Naseem Shah opened up about the communication issues with foreign coaches working with the Pakistan team. He said that players need someone for translation and it is easier to communicate in their native language. As quoted by Cricket Pakistan, Naseem Shah said:

"There is a language problem with foreign coaches. We need someone to translate the language. It is easier to communicate with the coach in your own language. Yes, our comeback wasn't great, and we can't deny that we didn't play good cricket. Criticism is part of it, and we must endure it until things improve."

He continued:

"This is a good chance to bounce back, play better, and show up as a team. That's what I'm hoping for. I haven’t played red-ball cricket for 13 months; it’s not easy to play after a long time. International cricket has its own pressure; however, we are training hard for it."
