Australian captain Pat Cummins broke the game open on Day 5 of the fourth Test against India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) with two wickets in the same over. After getting the better of his opposite number Rohit Sharma, he drew KL Rahul's nick as well to send him back for 0.

The dismissal occurred in the 17th over of the innings as the right-arm speedster sent in a scrambled seam delivery, generating extra bounce. With Rahul in two minds, he couldn't take his bat out of the way and it managed to catch the edge, with Usman Khawaja taking a good catch.

Rahul, who opened in the first three Tests, and emerged as India's highest run-getter, moved down the order as Rohit Sharma moved to partner Yashasvi Jaiswal at the top. Cummins had dismissed the 32-year-old even in the first innings, cleaning him up for 24.
