Ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin helped India get rid of in form Rachin Ravindra on Day 2 of the third and final Test against New Zealand on Saturday, November 2. As a result, Ravindra departed for just four runs in the second essay after managing five in the first innings.
The dismissal came in the 14th over of New Zealand’s second innings. Ashwin bowled a short length delivery and Ravindra stepped out for a big shot but missed it altogether. The ball spun past the outside edge and the wicketkeeper did well to gather the ball before dislodging the stumps in a flash. Interestingly, it was Ashwin's first wicket of the Test match.
