Jadeja confidently appealed and the umpire swiftly raised his finger, giving the visitors their first wicket.

Debutant Konstas confidently faced Bumrah in the third over, initially missing a reverse scoop. However, he quickly found his rhythm, hitting India's pace spearhead for two boundaries and a six in the seventh over.
The youngster reached his fifty off 52 balls, also giving Usman Khawaja the time to settle at the other end. Ravindra Jadeja eventually dismissed Konstas for 60. At the time of writing, the hosts were 103-1 after 23 overs, with Khawaja on 32 and Marnus Labuschagne on 9.
