Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was seen interacting with a young fan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Monday, December 23. The 27-year-old recently featured in the third Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy at The Gabba in Brisbane.
The rain-affected Test saw centuries from Steve Smith (101) and Travis Head (152), which guided Australia to 445 runs in their first innings. In reply, India were dismissed for 260, with Akash Deep and Jasprit Bumrah's 47-run partnership saving them from the follow-on, while Pant managed just nine runs.
Australia declared their second innings at 89/7, setting India a target of 275. However, rain brought a premature end to the match, with India finishing their second innings at 8-0, resulting in a draw.
Ahead of the fourth Test, Rishabh Pant was seen meeting a young girl after a net session at the MCG.
