India captain Rohit Sharma looked dejected as Yashasvi Jaiswal dropped the prized catch of Marnus Labuschagne on Day 4 (Sunday, December 29) of the fourth Test against Australia in Melbourne. Rohit threw his hands in agony after Jaiswal dropped an easy catch off Akash Deep.
The incident came in the 40th over of Australia’s second innings. Labuschagne played a late cut, straight to gully but Jaiswal couldn’t get hold of the ball. Virat Kohli had an outside chance of completing the catch if Jaiswal directed it toward the slip cordon.
