India captain Rohit Sharma smashed a six to reach his fifty in the second ODI against Sri Lanka at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Sunday, August 4. The right-hander took the aerial route to complete his fifty off just 29 balls. It was his 57th fifty in the 50-over format.

The shot came in the 10th over of India’s run-chase. Kamindu Mendis bowled a floated delivery. Rohit leaned back to punish the ball outside off and launched it over the deep extra cover. It was the third six off Rohit's innings after having recently completed the most sixes as captain in international cricket.
