Former Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan is famous for his humor on social media platforms. Shikhar shared another hilarious post on Instagram, this time recreating a comedy scene from the Bollywood movie 'Welcome' along with his parents.

Shikhar played the role of don Uday Shetty, a character played by Nana Patekar in the movie, while his father played Akshay Kumar's character of Rajiv. In the scene, Rajiv complained to the don that someone has been troubling him. Being the don, Uday assures Rajiv that he will take care of whoever troubles him.

However, in a twist, Shikhar's father asks his son to control his mother. Seeing that, Shikhar jumped from his seat and ran away. Shikhar wrote a famous dialogue of Uday Shetty in the caption while sharing the following reel on Instagram:

"Maa be like: Control Uday Controllll."

The reel shared by Shikhar Dhawan has received more than 50,000 likes in just four hours. More than 600 users have dropped a comment under the post, while the video has been viewed 521,000 times on Instagram.

Shikhar Dhawan played a captain's knock for Northern Challengers in Big Cricket League 2024

While Shikhar Dhawan shared a funny reel on his Instagram account on December 13, he was in action on the cricket field on December 12.

The former Indian opener turned up for the Northern Challengers in the opening match of the newly-launched Big Cricket League in Surat.

Dhawan is the skipper of the Challengers, and he led the team from the front by scoring 86 runs off 43 balls at the top of the order. His half-century helped the Challengers defeat the Southern Spartans by six wickets.

The Challengers will play their next match against the Mumbai Marines at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium on December 14. It is afternoon match, with the start time being 3 PM IST.
