Team India stalwart Virat Kohli recently made the day of a kid by giving an autograph and clicking pictures with him. Kohli is currently in Mumbai with the Indian Test squad, preparing for the third Test against New Zealand that will commence on November 1 at the Wankhede Stadium.

New Zealand have already sealed the three-match series by winning the first two Tests in Bengaluru and Pune. The Indian players, including Virat Kohli, are currently training intensely in the nets to avoid a whitewash.

An X (formerly known as Twitter) user shared a video on the social media platform on Wednesday to give a glimpse of Virat Kohli's warm gesture for a kid during his practice session at the Wankhede Stadium. In it, the iconic cricketer could be seen giving an autograph and posing for a picture with his little fan sporting a smile.

"He has scored only two centuries in the last five years" - Aakash Chopra on Virat Kohli's Test form

Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra recently expressed concern over Virat Kohli's batting returns in Test cricket over the past few years. He stressed the importance of Kohli returning to form for the team, considering the number of youngsters around him in the batting line-up who predominantly play aggressively.

In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said:

"Is Virat Kohli's Test form a concern? He has scored only two centuries in the last five years. It's always going to be a concern if Virat doesn't score runs or scores less runs because he is a mighty player and you make your entire game plan around Kohli. This team requires his form and contribution even more because Rohit (Sharma) is at the top and Kohli is in the middle, the rest around them are all kids."

He continued:

"All kids play big shots, they play in their own way, my way or the highway. In such a scenario, Virat not only scoring big runs but also batting two to two-and-a-half sessions will be the calming influence. He will drive the game and things can revolve around him. He will want to be the pivot and it will be a problem if he doesn't become that."

Virat Kohli has scored only 88 runs across four innings in the ongoing series against New Zealand with a solitary half-century. He will be aiming to play an impactful knock in the upcoming Mumbai Test and help his side end the series with a consolation win.
