A video has gone viral on social media in which a batter and a bowler are seen getting into a brawl during a local cricket tournament. The incident took place last week during the MCC Weekdays Bash XIX final between Aerovisa Cricket and Rabdan Cricket Club.

In the viral clip, Rabdan Cricket Club batter Kashif Muhammad and Aerovisa Cricket bowler Nasir Ali are seen getting involved in a virtual fist-fight even as players from both teams and the umpires unsuccessfully try to separate them.

As per a report in NDTV, the ugly incident took place on the final ball of the 13th over after Nasir had picked up the wicket of Kashif. Nasir gave the batter a fiery send-off after dismissing him.

Here's the video:

The batter initially didn't respond and started to walk away. However, Nasir continued to celebrate exaggeratedly in Kashif's face, enraging him. What followed was an extremely ugly WWE-style fight.

When a batter and a keeper were involved in a brawl in a local cricket match in Bermuda

A somewhat similar incident to the one mentioned above was witnessed during a local cricket match in Bermuda in September 2015. In the final match of the local event played between Cleveland County Cricket Club and Willow Cuts Cricket Club at St David's Cricket Club ground, two players from opposite camps came to blows, quite literally.

As per a report in India TV News, Cleveland's wicketkeeper Jason Anderson first punched opposition batter George O' Brien. An agitated O'Brien responded by making an attempt to hit the wicketkeeper's head with the bat. The fight between the two carried on and turned so ugly that the support staff as well as cops had to enter the field to try and diffuse the situation.

Following the shocking incident, the Bermuda Cricket Board found Anderson guilty of a Level 4 Breach of the Code of Conduct and slapped him with a life ban. Meanwhile, O'Brien was charged with a Level 3 Breach and given a six-month ban.
