Indian superstar Virat Kohli has often been in the middle of heated arguments with his counterparts, particularly Australians, on the field throughout his career. However, this time he was seen involved in a fiery exchange at the Melbourne airport ahead of the fourth Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 Test, which is set to be played at the MCG.

This time around, though, he was not involved with a player but with a few media persons at the Melbourne airport. It is known to all that Virat Kohli has been very vocal about his personal life being kept away from the media's attention.

Kohli, upon arriving at the Melbourne airport, was not happy as the media appeared to be capturing him and his family members, which included his children as well. The Indian cricketer lost his cool and was seen in an argument with the media persons at the airport.

"With my kids I need some privacy yeah? You can't film without asking me," Kohli was heard saying at the airport.

He was seen in an intense discussion with a TV reporter, expressing his dislike of being filmed with his family without being asked.

However, the air was cleared later as it was found out that it was a misunderstanding. As per reports, Australian pacer Scott Boland was being interviewed by some journalists when Virat Kohli arrived and the cameras shifted their focus on him and his family at the moment.

"It was upon seeing the waiting cameras that Kohli became a little heated over what is largely a misunderstanding when he thought the media was filming him with his children," a reporter later clarified on 7NEWS.

Virat Kohli has given poor performances so far Down Under

As far as Virat Kohli's form with the bat goes, it has been concerning for the Indian team on this tour so far. In the first Test in Perth, Kohli was dismissed for just five runs in the first innings.

While he did stage a comeback with an unbeaten century (100*) in the second innings, that has been his only notable performance in the three Tests so far. The second Test in Adelaide saw him register scores of seven and 11 while his woes continued at The Gabba, where he was sent back for just three runs in the lone innings that he played.

Heading into the final two Tests at Melbourne and Sydney, Virat Kohli will certainly be under pressure to deliver with the series (1-1) and the World Test Championship (WTC) final qualification on the line for India.
