The Women's East Asia Cup 2024 is the sixth edition of the tournament which is scheduled to be held in South Korea. The tournament will begin on October 8 as Hong Kong will face Japan in the opening encounter, with the final to be played on October 13.
Hong Kong, Japan, China, Mongolia, and South Korea are the five teams participating in the tournament. Each team will play four matches. The third place play-off will be played on the same day as the final.
Hong Kong are the defending champions of the Women's East Asia Cup as they defeated China in the final of the 2023 edition. They will be keen to defend their title. The Women's East Asia Cup will provide an opportunity once again for cricketers from these nations to showcase their skills and gain much-needed exposure.
