England faced Scotland in the 17th match of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday, October 13.
Scotland opted to bat and put up just 109/6 on the board. Sisters Kathryn Bryce and Sarah Bryce top scored with 33 and 27 runs, respectively. The English bowlers were clinical, with five of them getting their name on the wickets column. Sophie Ecclestone got two wickets, whereas Nat Sciver, Lauren Bell, Charlie Dean, and Danielle Gibson got one each.
It was a cakewalk for the England batters in the run chase. Openers Maia Boucher and Danielle Wyatt Hodge both registered brilliant half-centuries. They remained unbeaten on 62* (34) and 51* (26), respectively, to chase down the total in 10 overs as England won the match by ten wickets.

South African openers Tazmin Brits (155) and Laura Woolvardt (148) hold the top positions.
Danielle Wyatt Hodge, after her knock of 51* moved to third place with a total of 135 runs, followed by Sobhana Mostary (134) in fourth.
Nigar Sultana (104), Beth Mooney (98), Harmanpreet Kaur (96) are next in the table. Maia Boucher also climbed up after her half-century to reach eighth place with 93 runs.
Georgia Plimmer (91) is ninth, and Sarah Bryce (83) moved up to the tenth spot.

There's no change in the top 10 of most wickets after the England-Scotland game. Nonkulelko Mlaba continues her dominance at the top with nine wickets.
Megan Schutt, Amelia Kerr, and Arundhati Reddy are next with seven wickets each, followed by Rosemary Mair with six to her name.
A total of 11 bowlers have five wickets each under their belt, namely Annabel Sutherland, Sophie Molineux, Ashleigh Gardner, Sadia Iqbal, Karishma Ramharack, Asha Sobhana, Renuka Singh, Ritu Moni, Afy Fletcher, Chamari Athapaththu, and Fahima Khatun.
