Apart from being a genuine match-winner, Team India's Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma is known for his forgetful nature and eccentric behavior. His stump mic moments have earned legendary status and his interactions with teammates have resulted in plenty of viral content being generated.

One such typical Rohit Sharma moment played out during his appearance on a video interaction with India Women cricketers Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues. During the COVID-enforced lockdown, when sporting activities were completely halted, Mandhana and Rodrigues came up with an online show and invited some sporting celebrities to chat with them.

Rohit made his appearance in one of the episodes. Praising the Indian men's cricket superstar during the interaction, Mandhana expressed her admiration over the Hitman's talent of being able to hit yorkers for sixes. Rohit initially wore a puzzled look, but when Mandhana insisted that he has done it so many times, the 37-year-old replied that it was his favorite stroke.

This is how the amusing interaction went:

Mandhana: How can you even hit a yorker for a six? I can't even imagine.

Rohit: (Confused look) Yorker pe maine mara hai six? Pata nahi (Have I hit a six off a yorker? I don't know).

Mandhana: Yeah yeah sir, wide yorkers over point, so many times. I have tried replicating that shot. Woh hua nahi kabhi (I could never do it).

Rohit: Woh favorite shot hai mera (That is my favorite shot).

Rohit Sharma is currently leading India in the Test series against Bangladesh

Rohit Sharma-led Team India are currently locked in a two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home. The hosts won the first Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai by 280 runs. While India impressed as a team overall, Rohit disappointed with the bat, registering scores of six and five, respectively.

India won the toss and bowled first in the second Test at Green Park in Kanpur, which began on Friday, September 27. However, only 35 overs have been possible in the Test so far, with Day 2 being completely washed out. Rohit will hope to get some runs on the board if he gets a chance to bat in the game.
