Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma have come under the spotlight after a few fans noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Chahal has also apparently deleted or archived all the pictures and videos featuring his better half on Instagram.
The couple haven't made an official statement or confirmed if they are parting ways.
Chahal first approached Dhanashree, a choreographer by profession, for dance lessons during the COVID-19 lockdown. The two soon became developed a great bond and their friendship blossomed into love.
The couple tied the knot on December 22, 2020, at the Karma Lakelands resort in Gurugram. The veteran cricketer's wife was often spotted cheering for her husband from the stands in Indian Premier League (IPL) and Team India matches.

However, Chahal shared an Instagram story on August 18, 2022, requesting fans to not pay attention to those rumors. It is worth mentioning that Dhanashree also shared the same message on her Instagram story.
The crafty spinner wrote:
"A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumors pertaining to our relationship. Kindly, put an end to it. Love and light to everyone."
On the cricketing front, Chahal was in great demand at the IPL 2025 mega-auction. The bowler was roped in by Punjab Kings (PBKS) after an intense bidding war for a whopping ₹18 crore, becoming the most expensive spinner in the league's history.
