Yuzvendra Chahal, Shreyas Iyer among Indian cricketers & Bollywood stars to attend final Big Boss episode: Reports

Punjab Kings cricketers Shreyas Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal and Shashank Singh will reportedly appear as guests on the final Big Boss Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Sunday. Besides, Bollywood celebrities like Raveena Tandon and Aaman Devgan will appear on the episode slated to air on Saturday.

As per Times of India, the final Big Boss Weekend Ka Vaar episodes of season 18 will air on January 11 and 12. It is rare to see Indian cricketers making appearances on reality TV shows in the 2020s, but Yuzvendra Chahal, Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh will reportedly appear on the show.

Iyer has previously appeared as a guest on The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. Yuzvendra Chahal has also appeared on comedian Kapil Sharma's show in the past, while Shashank Singh will make his first appearance on a popular show this weekend.

It will be interesting to see how the three Punjab Kings cricketers interact with the show's host Salman Khan. As per TOI, Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah will add more comedy flavor to the episode airing on January 12.

Punjab Kings spent an enormous sum of money to acquire Shreyas Iyer and Yuzvendra Chahal at the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. They went aggressively for Iyer and acquired his services for a whopping ₹26.75 crore, while Chahal earned the biggest contract of his life as the Kings spent ₹18 crore to sign him.

Shashank Singh had already been retained as an uncapped player, thanks to his incredible batting performances in the middle-order for the Punjab Kings in IPL 2024. The trio of Chahal, Iyer and Singh will have the responsibility of helping PBKS win matches in IPL 2025. PBKS have never won the IPL title, but they have a great chance of ending their drought in the upcoming season.
