Kings from Punjab tops this list of teams with a lowest single-season NRR in the IPL history. After a terrific 2014 season for the Kings, the Punjab side drastically failed in the very next season. Punjab had finished 1st on the points table in the 2014 edition but finished last in the 2015 season of the IPL.

2014 saw the Kings achieving an NRR of +0.968 (3rd highest NRR in the history) while 2015 saw the lowest NRR any team has recorded in the history of the Indian Premier League.

Punjab could only manage 3 wins out of 14 games in the tournament. The Most Valuable Player of the 2014 season - Glenn Maxwell, could manage only 145 runs in the whole tournament at an average of 13.18.

No one really got going for the Punjab side and a total of 2286 runs in 258.1 overs were scored against them, while the Kings could only manage 2003 runs in 270 overs.
