Just like Gautam Gambhir who returned to his first franchise, Yuvraj was bought by his home-town franchise Kings XI Punjab. The stories of both the southpaws have been similar in terms of their strike rate.

Yuvraj has the lowest strike rate this season as he scored 65 runs at a strike rate of 89.04 in six innings.

He played only eight matches for the franchise and he got a chance to redeem himself in their penultimate game of the league stage during which he had the opportunity to take his side to the playoffs.

But Yuvraj failed yet again and it might also be the last time we see him playing for his home franchise.
