Jaydev Unadkat, the costliest Indian buy the 2017 auction, could not live up to the expectations that the team had on him.

In the 14 matches that he played, he picked up 11 wickets with a very high economy rate of 9.37.

Unadkat's value at the auction table saw a steep rise due to his performances in the 2017 IPL, in which he claimed 24 wickets in 12 matches with a measly economy rate of 7.02.

With his performances in this IPL being nowhere close last year's, the chances of the costliest Indian buy getting dropped from the side seem high.
