Sam Curran reaped rewards for his man-of-the-series performance against Team India in the Test series. Being an all-rounder, and a talented one too, Curran was always going to be in demand at the auction. But the question is, is he really worth it?
The 20-year-old does not boost a great T20 record. He has an average of 15.93 and strike-rate of 118.90 in T20s. Curran hasn't been impressive with the ball either taking just 42 wickets in 47 matches at an economy of 8.24 runs per over.
