Pradeep Sangwan's last appearance on the field came in April when he played for Mumbai Indians in the 2018 IPL season. He did not play for Delhi in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy. His impressed the IPL franchises with his excellent performances in the U-19 World Cup. He represented Delhi Daredevils, Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Lions before donning the Mumbai Indians jersey in 2018.

In the 2018 IPL season, he could play only one game in the presence of Jasprit Bumrah, Mustafizur Rahman and Mitchell McClenaghan. So far, he has played 29 games in IPL and picked up 35 wickets at an average of 34 and an economy of around 9. The Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians should let him go and bring in-form player for the 12th season of IPL.
