Yusuf Pathan has been highly successful in the IPL

Yusuf Pathan initially came into limelight as Irfan Pathan's elder brother. He played a small but significant role in India's successful campaign in the inaugural World T20. However, the elder Pathan made a name for himself after his exploits in IPL 2008, where he was vital to Rajasthan Royals' maiden IPL title.

Over the years, Yusuf has earned a reputation of a hard-hitting batsman in the country. He has played 56 ODIs and 22 T20s for the national side and was part of the triumphant Indian team that won the 2011 World Cup.

Even though Yusuf couldn't perform as per his calibre in international cricket, he has been highly efficient in the IPL. He has been an integral part of Kolkata Knight Riders for years and won IPL titles in 2012 and 2014.
