Have we seen the last of Rohit Sharma in Test cricket?

Rohit Sharma has been an enigma when it comes to Test cricket. Rohit, who is an extremely successful limited overs cricketer, has struggled in the longest format. There are very few doubts about Rohit's technique as a batsman but he has been found guilty of wrong shot selection. The selectors have given Rohit ample amount of chances in Test cricket but Rohit has been disappointing most of the times.

It seems they have finally run out of patience and have made a call on Rohit's Test career. After a poor South Africa series, he wasn't picked in the team that faced Afghanistan in June. And after this snub, Rohit might not be seen playing Tests anytime soon.
