Shikar Dhawan – 5

His form has dipped in this series and he looked tentative from the beginning before being dismissed by Stoinis.

Rohit Sharma – 3

Went for a big six early in his innings and edged it behind to Shaun Marsh.

Virat Kohli – 7

As usual, he looked very comfortable at the crease and rotated the strike well but could not finish the game off as he went for a cover drive and was caught behind.

MS Dhoni – 9

His vast experience came into play while chasing a tricky target. Calculated the run chase to perfection and picked the right bowlers to hit boundaries

Kedar Jadhav – 8.5

Showed his wide array of shots and took the pressure off MSD by striking the ball at a good rate.

Dinesh Karthik – 4

Did not get a chance to bat and had minimal impact on the field.

Vijay Shankar – 7.5

His pace was not quite up to the desired level but bowled a decent line and was economical.

Ravindra Jadeja – 6

Tried bowling a bit faster than usual but the Aussies dealt with him without any pressure.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar – 8

His new ball exploits continue to increase and he still possesses the skill to swing the ball both ways in any condition.

Mohammed Shami – 7

Compared to the last match, he was a bit expensive but picked up the wicket of Maxwell at a crucial moment.

Yuzvendra Chahal – 9.5

Just ran through the Australian middle order by using his variations to great effect and recorded the best ever figures for a bowler in ODI at Australia.
