Roelof van der Merwe is a South African-born cricketer, who currently plays for the Netherlands cricket team

van der Merwe had represented South Africa at 2004 U19 World Cup. He was picked for the national side in 2009 and was a regular player in the limited overs set-up for couple of years. He represented them in 2009 and 2010 T20 World Cups. He didn't get any opportunity in the next few years.

van der Merwe secured a Dutch passport by virtue of his ancestry and was selected in the Netherlands squad immediately. He has been playing for them regularly since 2015.
