#7 R Vinay Kumar
There was a time after the 2011 Cricket World Cup when R Vinay Kumar was a regular member of the Indian ODI side. However, a string of poor bowling performances, including a then Indian record of giving away 102 runs in an ODI inning, Vinay Kumar lost his place in the national side and has not made it back into the squad ever since.
However, Vinay has been exceptional in the IPL ever since its inception, having taken 105 wickets so far in the tournament. In fact, he was the first player to win consecutive IPL title, but with different franchises. In 2014, while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Vinay Kumar took 7 wickets in the 9 matches that he played during their victorious campaign.
After he was released by KKR at the end of that season, Vinay was bought by Mumbai Indians. In the 2015 season that Mumbai Indians won, Vinay was part of the playing XI in 13 matches and took only 7 wickets. Vinay was also part of the winning squad 2 years later, but played only 1 match and took 2 wickets. Vinay is now back with KKR for 2018 season.
