#5 Munaf Patel
An on-and-off member of the Indian squad for more than 5 years, Munaf Patel had a rather small international career for a player of his calibre. He played for India in all the three formats, featuring in a total of 86 matches, and was also part of the 2011 World Cup winning squad. However, regular spells of injuries brought a halt to his international career in 2011.
Munaf, however, was a regular feature in IPL since the inaugural season and has been a part of 2 IPL winning squads. In the inaugural season, Munaf was a member of the Shane Warne-led Rajasthan Royals squad that surprisingly won the tournament. Munaf played a crucial role in the campaign, taking 14 wickets in the 15 matches that he played.
After he was released by Rajasthan Royals in 2010, he was signed by Mumbai Indians for the 2011 season. After playing his best game in 2011 and 2012, Munaf again tasted IPL success when Mumbai Indians won their maiden title in 2013. Munaf, though, played only 4 matches in 2013, took only 3 wickets, and was released by Mumbai Indians at the end of the season.
