#4 Reeza Hendricks
The talented South African batsman, Reeza Hendricks is in the form of his life, who recently stepped up in the absence of retired AB de Villiers and the injured Quinton de Kock against Pakistan at home.
The 29-year-old scored 169 runs in the ODI series at an average of 42 and finished as the second highest run-getter in the T20I series. With the talent he possesses, he deserved an IPL contract to be fair.
The right-hander went unsold for his base price of INR 50L.
#3 Tom Curran
Tom Curran, who joined Kolkata Knight Riders as a cover for Mitchell Starc in last year's IPL, was released by the franchise for his mediocre performance, picking 6 wickets in 5 games at an economy rate of over 11.
But the recent Big Bash League tells a different story. The 23-year-old was a significant part of the Sydney Sixers setup, who picked up 20 wickets from 14 games. In addition to that, he played some impressive cameos coming in at number 7 throughout the BBL season.
Curran, who was not a part of the auctions this time around, will be really missed for what he brings to the table. His younger brother Sam Curran was bagged by Kings XI Punjab for INR 7.2 crores.
