Harbhajan Singh
2002 ICC Champions Trophy: Harbhajan played his part in the tournament by taking six wickets in five matches at an average of 30 and an economy of 3.7. He made sure that the opposition batsmen struggled to score runs in the middle overs.
2007 World T20: With RP Singh and Irfan Pathan doing a majority of the damage with the ball, Harbhajan was needed just to play second fiddle and he did exactly that throughout the tournament. Being a spinner, he was taken to the cleaners on a few occasions but he kept the scoring rate down on a consistent basis. He took seven wickets in six matches at an average of 26 and an economy of 7.91, something that skyrocketed after Misbah-ul-Haq smashed him to all parts of the ground in the final.
2011 World Cup: Once again, Harbhajan did the job for his team in an ICC event as he picked up nine wickets in as many matches at an average of 43 and economy of 4.48, which was the best by an Indian bowler in the tournament. Even though he was not among the wickets too often, Harbhajan kept things tight in the middle overs, resulting in opposition batsmen attacking Yuvraj Singh and giving away their wickets.
