MS Dhoni
2013 ICC Champions Trophy: In the five matches India played, Dhoni got to bat only twice and registered scores of 27 and 0. The top-order performed so well that the services of the skipper were not needed for the most part. As a captain, Dhoni did his job to perfection and made sure that India tasted success in the Champions Trophy.
2007 World T20: This was the first time MS Dhoni captained India and he repaid the faith the selectors had in him by leading his side to glory. He was India's second highest run scorer with 154 runs in six innings at an average of 31 and a strike-rate of 130. Adding to his contribution with the bat, he was also excellent behind the stumps and with his captaincy. His decision to give the last over of the tournament to Joginder Sharma when Harbhajan Singh had an over left proved to be a masterstroke as India became the inaugural World T20 champions.
2011 World Cup: MS Dhoni had a miserable outing in the first eight matches as he scored just 150 runs in seven innings at an average of 30. The Indian skipper stepped up when it mattered the most and took the responsibility in the final by coming out to bat ahead of Yuvraj Singh, scoring a World Cup-winning 91* to take the team home. Throughout the tournament, he was brilliant with his wicketkeeping and captaincy.
Dhoni is the only player to win all the three tournaments as a captain.
