Pondicherry Premier League 2024: Full schedule, squads, match timings and live-streaming details

Pondicherry Premier League 2024 is a domestic T20 cricket tournament organized by the Cricket Association of Pondicherry (CAP). It is the first-ever T20 league organized by CAP.

The tournament will start on Monday, August 5, and conclude on Friday, August 23. A total of six teams will participate in the competition. Each team will face the other five teams twice in the league stage.

A total of 34 matches will be played in the tournament at the Siechem Stadium in Thuthipet. Fans will be free to enter the venue.

The draft for the Pondicherry Premier League 2024 took place on July 7. A total of 19 Grade A players were picked by the six different franchises in the draft. Mohit Kale was picked by Villianur Mohit Kings. Kale played for Vidarbha in domestic cricket and shifted his base to Pondicherry. Aman Hakim Khan, the Mumbai all-rounder who has played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals in the IPL has also been picked by the Kings. Damodran Rohit, the skipper of Pondicherry will lead the Kings this season.

Most of the players who played for Pondicherry in domestic cricket have found a place in different teams in the tournament. The six teams are: Karaikal Kniights, Mahe Megalo Strikers, Villianur Mohit Kings, Ossudu Accord Warriors, Yanam Royals, and White Town Giants.
