Brendon McCullum has had the honour of leading the Lahore Qalandars side in the PSL. However, the team has not performed well at all and caused the side and his reputation in the league to slip a little.

For the fourth season, four New Zealanders have been included in the platinum category of foreign players. This is the largest number from any international country.

McCullum has found himself among the platinum category players yet again, along with countrymen Colin Munro, Luke Ronchi, and Mitchell McClenaghan. Fireworks will be seen on the field each time one these men walk in to bat, or when McClenaghan runs into bowl.
