Pujara gets call up; Virender Sehwag dropped against England

Virender Sehwag has been dropped from the Indian ODI team for first three matches against England. Sehwag was not included in the last ODI against Pakistan as well.

The national selectors Vikram Rathore and Saba Karim had a long chat with the veteran Indian opener ahead of the third and final ODI against Pakistan at his home ground. Rathore and Karim had discussions with Sehwag for more than 20 minutes each during the Indian team’s training session at the Feroze Shah Kotla grounds on Saturday. In between two batting stints at the nets, Sehwag was seen in a one-to-one conversation with each of the two selectors. The two selectors also had a discussion with Indian captain MS Dhoni too.
