
Rachin Ravindra is an all-rounder who plays for New Zealand across all formats. Born to Indian parents in Wellington on November 18, 1999, he started playing cricket at the age of five and played age group club cricket for Hutt Hawk Cricket Club in Bengaluru in his childhood. He was also a part of New Zealand's squad for the 2016 and 2018 ICC Under-19 World Cups.
The left-handed cricketer made his international debut in a T20I match against Bangladesh in September 2021. He also made his Test debut in 2021 against India and made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in March 2023. He scored a century in his first-ever ICC World Cup game against England in 2023. Ravindra was also a part of the New Zealand squad that played the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy final.
