MS Dhoni is one of the fiercest hitters of the game. The Ranchi star has played some brilliant innings in IPL and has plundered 186 sixes in his IPL career. In the eliminator match between Chennai Super Kings and the Mumbai Indians during the 2012 IPL campaign, the former Indian captain hit a six off James Franklin’s bowling which measured 112 meters.

In a game against the Pune Warriors India during IPL 2013, Chris Gayle struck one of the biggest sixes in IPL history. Gayle broke numerous records in the innings as he scored the fastest IPL hundred (30 balls) and also registered the highest individual score in T20s (175). He brought his hundred in the ninth over when he dismissed Ashok Dinda for a 112-meter six. Gayle finished with 17 sixes in the innings, which is also an IPL record.
